Where to Stay

We’ve got lodging options for every style and budget:

Durango Lodge Discount – Stay downtown and walk to most venues! We’ve partnered with Durango Lodge for a special Startup Week rate. Book here to get the discount.
Free Camping at The Arboretum – Just 15 minutes from downtown, this beautiful new site offers abundant space, restrooms, and no RV hookups. We encourage camping—bonfires and late-night hangs await. Because it’s also a winery (open Thursday–Sunday), we kindly ask that you don’t bring outside alcohol to the property—we’d never want to jeopardize a local business’s license. BYO gear and good judgment—we’re not liable for your shenanigans!
Airbnb Crew-Ups – Many attendees team up to rent a house for the week. It’s a fun and cost-effective way to stay close and connect.

Getting Around

Prefer to park and ride? A free shuttle will run daily between the La Plata County Fairgrounds parking lot and downtown:

Getting around West Slope Startup Week is easy! Free transit service is available to all attendees during the week of October 6–10—just show your event lanyard to ride any Durango Transit route. Visit DurangoTransit.com to explore route maps and download the app.

Morning Shuttle: departs Fairgrounds at 8:00 AM
Evening Shuttle: departs downtown at 4:30 PM
Downtown stop: at the back entrance of the Main Mall (835 Main Ave, home to Startup Week HQ)

The Fairgrounds is also a great spot to park and bike—it’s a quick and easy ride to most event venues downtown. Enjoy the convenience, skip the downtown parking meters, and ride with ease all week long!
